We are now running a competition to find a logo for the Student Council. We want to create a brand for the Student Council, so when you see this logo, photo or emblem you know we're involved (Like Apple or Coca-Cola only on a much, much smaller scale). And we want you to help us with it!
The competition will run during October, with the closing date as the 17th November 2014 (3.45pm).
The only real limit is your imagination, though we we'd love if you could also put a meaning along with it - we want something that can go on our letterheads, posters, emails, website, twitter page and anything and everything we do and we would really love for you - the students to be a part of that. Bear in mind that logos shouldn't be too intricate because it will be small - remember: Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication (Leonardo Da Vinci). (Think Apple, Nike, McDonalds, Adidas, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, H&M, even Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure). Here are just a few guidelines or ideas to get you started (you don't need to follow them per sé!)
All students are eligible to enter, from First Year up to Sixth Year. There are no limitations to how many logos you can enter but there can only be one winner! There are no runners-up for this competition and the judges are the entire Student Council. You should submit your logo on paper or you could even design it on the computer and email us if that's where your skills are!
Please give your applications (unless you're emailing them) to Ms Costello (Room 51) or any of the members of the Student Council. Please don't forget to include your name and class. There's an Entry form below as well if you'd prefer use that! And most importantly: your talents will not go unrewarded because the prize is a €20 voucher for Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure and a €10 voucher for HMV/Xtra-Vision!
We will announce the winners during the week beginning 17th November; and we wish you the very best of luck!

- Incorporate St Eunan's College, its community, students and/or its features.
- What the Student Council is: a voice for the student body, representatives.
